Live in Lou Job Board – Terms and Conditions of Use

By accessing and using the Live in Lou Job Board, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all users of the Job Board, including but not limited to job seekers and employers.

General Use

  • The Live in Lou Job Board is provided as a public service by Live in Lou and Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) to connect job seekers with employment opportunities in the Greater Louisville region. 
  • Users agree to use the Job Board only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. 

User Responsibility

  • Job Seekers are solely responsible for the content of the resumes and other information they upload. By submitting a resume or creating a profile, you affirm that all information provided is accurate, current, and truthful. 
  • Employers are solely responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of job postings, and for compliance with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and labor laws. 
  • Both parties agree not to post or transmit false, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, or unlawful content of any kind. 

No Guarantee of Outcome

  • Live in Lou and GLI make no guarantees or representations regarding the suitability, qualifications, or conduct of any individual using the Job Board. 
  • For Job Seekers: Submission of your resume does not guarantee job placement. 
  • For Employers: Posting a position does not guarantee it will be filled, nor will applicants meet your expectations. 

Privacy and Public Information

  • Information submitted to the Job Board may be viewable by third parties. Users are responsible for the information they choose to make publicly available. 
  • Live in Lou and GLI are not liable for any misuse of publicly shared information by third parties. 

Content Moderation

  • Live in Lou reserves the right to review, approve, reject, or remove any user-submitted content, including job postings and resumes, at its sole discretion and without notice, particularly if it is found to violate these Terms or any applicable laws. 

Indemnity and Liability

  • Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Live in Lou, GLI, and their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from use of the Job Board or violation of these Terms. 
  • Live in Lou and GLI are not responsible for any interactions, agreements, or disputes that occur between users as a result of connections made through the Job Board. 

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

  • By submitting information to the Live in Lou Job Board, you acknowledge and agree that Live in Lou and Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to analyze the content you provide (such as resumes or job postings). This analysis is used solely to help match job seekers and employers and to improve the user experience. 
  • The AI processes may include evaluating skills, experience, and keywords to suggest or surface applicable opportunities. No automated decisions affecting employment or hiring outcomes are made solely by AI, and all recommendations are informational in nature. 
  • You retain full control over the information you provide, and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your resume may be viewed by others registered on this website. 

Modifications

  • These Terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Job Board constitutes acceptance of the most current version.
